Silver marches towards lifetime high after scaling 32-month peak of Rs 75,009.

Silver futures hit a 32-week high on Wednesday amid weakness in the greenback. Bullion prices have been on an uptrend this year as fears of an economic downturn loom on major economies. The trigger for the current rally was the poor economic data emerging from the US which led to the dollar slipping to a two-month low.

On Wednesday, May silver futures hit Rs 75,009 per kg on the intraday basis and were trading at Rs 74,841 at 11:20 am on the MCX, up Rs 389 or 0.52%.

चांदी 32 महीने के उच्चतम स्तर 75,009 रुपये पर पहुंचने के बाद अब तक के उच्चतम स्तर पर पहुंच गई है।

ग्रीनबैक में कमजोरी के बीच बुधवार को चांदी वायदा 32 सप्ताह के उच्च स्तर पर पहुंच गई। प्रमुख अर्थव्यवस्थाओं पर आर्थिक मंदी की आशंका के कारण इस वर्ष बुलियन की कीमतों में तेजी रही है। मौजूदा तेजी के लिए ट्रिगर अमेरिका से खराब आर्थिक आंकड़े सामने आए, जिसके कारण डॉलर दो महीने के निचले स्तर पर फिसल गया।

बुधवार को मई का चांदी वायदा इंट्राडे के आधार पर 75,009 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम पर पहुंच गया और एमसीएक्स पर सुबह 11:20 बजे 389 रुपये या 0.52% की तेजी के साथ 74,841 रुपये पर कारोबार कर रहा था।
